Falsa lolly by Chef shireen Anwar












Ingredients
Sugar about                  250 gm or 1 1/4 cup
Water                           1 1/4 (sawa) cup
Falsa                           250 gm 
Rose water                   1 tbsp

Tip: sugar and water mixture (sheera) should not be thick otherwise your lolly will not freeze.

Method:
-         Soak falsa in 1 cup of water for 4 hours then blend in blender twice or thrice
-         Now strain in a fine muslin cloth (malmal ka kapra) so all the juice comes out,
-         Cook sugar and water for 10 minutes (don’t make it thick). Now remove it from flame and allow it to cool.
-         Then mix in falsa juice and also add in 1 tbsp rose water, freeze in lolly molds for at least 12 hours.

Note: lolly can be made from any fruit juice, for e.g orange, if oranges are available then take the fresh orange juice, but if not then take tang sachet and make juice of it, 1 cup and follow the same method for making lolly.
For pineapple take pineapple juice (tetra pack) don’t take pineapple flavor sachet of tang
For watermelon: remove all the seeds, take 2 cups of water melon , blend it and make juice and then make lolly.
